One of these games that have no point, but are so dangerously addictive that you nearly bite your phone’s edge off if you fail to complete a level or to achieve a new high-score; Yoo Ninja! is amongst the top free games on the Android Market. The whole game is based on Gravity, or rather your reaction speed when suddenly the world topples over. With great sketchy graphics and animations, and yet under about 5mb, Yoo Ninja! has earned it’s place among the best Android games ever made. The game takes your speed and precision to the highest level possible, forcing you to be quite jumpy when at last you reluctantly put your phone away.

The player is supposed to be running constantly through 34 levels in Story Mode while the Shurikens (Japanese long-range hand weapons) follow close in pursuit. When the earth is no longer under your feet, you simply tap on the screen to move upside down on the surface above. Misplacement or incorrect timing can result in being either thrown away into the ‘strange worlds of gravity’ or being crushed by the weapons from behind, in other words; game over. Obstacles on the path are avoided by the same method of switching sides, upside and downside!

 

 

 

 

 

 

Beside the Story Mode, there is the Endless Mode which lets you make your high-score depending on how much you could run till you died. The game is nowhere near Easy, it requires practice and an alert mind to complete all 34 levels. The ending is supposed to be ‘amazing’ according to the official description of the game. However, I am still having problems in the third out of the total 4 different arenas.
