Swype 3.0 Compatible on Honeycomb Tablets: You Can Now Tap or Swype
Swype released a new promo video for the 3.0 version of the highly popular mobile keyboard, mainly focusing on the compatibility with Tablets running Android Honeycomb. The keyboard can now be re-sized and fixed into three places on the screen; Center, Left and Right! Predictive Tap is another new feature that makes typing wrongly a lot easier, it even needed an “instant replay”. Check it out:
The video is very dramatic and it seems Swype worked on it like some kind of a mind-blowing exciting announcement. What with the introduction of the simplest features combined with high tones of background music, it’s no wonder the top comment on Youtube says:
Stroke it and poke it? That’s their tagline? That totally made me forget what the ad was about…

In my opinion, Predictive Tap was the only thing missing to make Swype superior to the normal keyboards, and I sure will switch once the final version is released. Even Ebby agrees…
