Gameloft’s 9mm Could Make It To the Galaxy Tab!
Gameloft, the most popular developer of high-end games for mobile platforms is not always specific for the availability of games on each mobile phone. Some recent games including BackStab, is apparently not fit to be run on the previous generation Android smartphones. As the mobile evolution rapidly advances into the future, powerful new processors are leaving even the recently released mobiles far behind.
Their latest title is probably headed for being the biggest hit ever for the company, as a recently released trailer shows glimpses of GTA style graphics and an open world game-play. This could be the first time a smartphone has ever matched console gaming, and presumably, the size might easily be the likes of plus 500mb. The trailer promises the availability of 9mm for the iPhone, iPad, Android smartphones, and tablets. We can only hope our beloved original Galaxy Tab is considered a device from the last option.
John “Loose” Kannon is the leader of a special team of hardened cops that aren’t afraid to bend the law to do their job.
But when they kill a local drug lord’s brother and take millions in cash, Kannon’s whole team becomes a target of revenge. Now Kannon has only one option: Take down the head of the gang that’s hunting them, legally or not, before his team gets taken out – or sold out by one of their own.
From what we can make out, the storyline shall evolve around the leader of a special police force doing whatever they like to maintain order. It looks as if 9mm will not support multi-player, unlike the majority of Gameloft’s games which is a large part of the company’s success. One thing’s for sure, once the game reaches the stores it’s going to sell like hot cakes!
You can check out other games from Gameloft and patiently wait for this “new sheriff in town”!
