Fix “App Unavailable in Your Country” on Android Market
There are some apps on the Android Market whose developers have chosen not to make them available in specific countries. As a result, many people are unable to download those apps on their devices. A simple way to fix the problem is to download an app called “Market Enabler” from the Android Market. Market Enable lets you access paid apps from countries where paid apps are not yet available.
With Market Enabler, you can deceive the Android Market into believing that you are in a country in which you’re actually not. There are a variety of countries with different carriers to chose from, but the most prominent and eligible choice would be T-Mobile in the USA. Selecting this choice would enable your phone to access any paid app available for your phone, straight from the Market.
- Download Market Enabler on your Android device here: [Link]
- Go to your phone’s Settings/Applications/Manage Apps/Market and Clear Data
- Open Market Enabler and you will be presented with this screen. [Right]
- Choose T-Mobile USA (or America) from the top of the list
- Finished. Exit the app.
Note: The country and carrier will be re-setted each time the device is re-started or Flight Mode is turned on. If such is the case, please follow the steps again.
This method will only work when Android Market is opened from your Android device. Opening <market.android.com> from your computer will still show the error for unavailable apps.
The app needs your phone to be ROOTED. To find out the quickest way to root your phone, please click here
