Why did Apple refuse to a “side to side” comparison between the Galaxy Tab 10.1 and the iPad 2? Why did Apple lawyers bore the patent lawsuits against Samsung’s tablet just on the basis of “research on the internet”, and “general impressions” of users concerning the similarities between the two models?

It’s true that a great amount of photos were waved in-front of the judge, but none of the devices were actually brought up for a comparison, even when Apple was prompted. That, and a closer observation leads us to the conclusion that Apple may have altered the images of the Galaxy Tab 10.1, to make it look more like the iPad 2:

The Galaxy Tab 10.1 measures in at 10.1in x 6.9in x 0.34in, while the iPad 2 sports dimensions of 9.5in x 7.31in x .34in. The aspect ratios of both devices are 4:3 and 16:10 respectively.

Stay tuned!
